Ian has over 20 years experience in the application of OSH management principles and practices spanning industries which include manufacturing, construction, mining and rail transport.
He has extensive experience in auditing OSH systems and in conducting compliance audits; Ian has facilitated numerous workshops for HAZOPS, HAZANS, HAZIDS and WRACS, throughout Australia and internationally. Provision of accurate and exhaustive Accident/Incident investigations to identify causation and subsequent hazards is another area in which Ian has considerable experience.
Ian has successfully facilitated the development of OSH risk profiles for a range of companies. The results of this work have been utilised to promote due diligence in the management of OSH risk through the use of appropriate performance indicators to monitor OSH management plans.
He has developed and delivered a wide range of training across various industries, always with an emphasis on enabling participants to develop practical skills that can be readily applied in the workplace. Ian is an articulate and competent workplace trainer who always places great emphasis on the application of practicable safety principles.
